You can help out in many ways here at the dealership, such as donating funds when we are doing a fundraiser for the Utah Food Bank or bringing in items when we are hosting a non-perishable food drive at our dealership, the latter of which we do year round as our Karl Malone Group dealerships Utah locations are official food drop-off spots for the Utah Food Bank. During our regular business hours you can bring by approved items and leave them with us, as we'll make sure they get to the food bank and local pantries.
The Utah Food Bank covers the entire state of Utah and it supplies partner agencies free of charge to help all those facing hunger across the state. Donations to the Utah Food Bank come from across the board, up to 10 percent comes from food drives and local donations from groups like ours at Karl Malone Chevrolet Park City. These donations go toward causes like emergency food assistance, food pantries at local schools so our kids don't go hungry, and other mobile pantry and food box programs for seniors who are homebound or people with disabilities that qualify.
Throughout the year, the Utah Food Bank also hosts many fundraising events to ensure that programs and grants are able to stay afloat.
